Do I need to go outside to take part?

Not necessarily - but it's always great to get outside if you can. The themes will draw on nature metaphors, cycles, and rhythms. You’re welcome to bring your own observations or reflections, whether from your garden, local park, or imagination.

Is this a mindfulness course?

In a way - yes. It's a mixture of mindfulness and creative writing exploration. It's about slowing down, observing, and noticing the lessons that nature provides us.

What kind of activities are involved?

We'll primarily work on reflection, observation, and creative writing skills.

Can I join if I live in a city?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Nature is everywhere - this course will hopefully leave you with an appreciation of little bits of nature that can be found everywhere - even in the densest of cities!

Do I need to bring anything?

Just something to write with. If you have images or observations to share - great!

Question 6

Will the sessions be recorded?

Accepted Answer

No, to protect everyone’s privacy and create a more open space, sessions won’t be recorded. If you miss a session, you’ll still be able to access written materials in the Teams group.

Can I share what I write in the group?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Sharing is encouraged, but totally optional. You’re welcome to engage in whatever way feels right for you.

Where will the lessons be hosted?

You'll have access to a private Microsoft Teams Community. All sessions will be facilitated through Microsoft Teams.
