Lester will be talking about the march of Edward IV’s army with the future Richard III and Henry VI in tow to the Battle. He will pick up on Shakespeare’s take, weather, military and logistic practicalities, heraldry, medical aspects, mercenaries, technology and, 550 years down the line, a living relative, Michael Ibsen, Richard III’s 17th great nephew who, in his workshop along the route of the march (Upper Holloway), made the casket for Richard’s re-interment five years ago in Leicester.
