An intimate, fully immersive day workshop at my home in Easton, Norwich. Limited to 2 participants to ensure personal guidance, deeper creative connection, questions answered and support developing your style. There will also be space for reflection, allowing you to fully explore, experiment, and grow. Please note we may run to 4pm depending on how your paintings develop.
Step into a day of guided, intuitive, abstract art-making, full of magical surprises, joy, and playful exploration. This isn’t a typical class — there are no rules, no copying, and no pressure for perfection.
With all materials provided, the morning is dedicated to playful experimentation: explore layers of paint, mixed media, and unconventional tools, learning techniques to build your own abstract, intuitive piece. Through sound, grounding exercises, and guided prompts, you’ll connect with your creativity and discover how the art process mirrors letting go in life.
In the afternoon, we move to easels and large-scale painting, letting your intuition guide bold marks, textures, and abstract forms. This is your chance to paint freely, fully immerse, and embrace joyful spontaneity.
This is a non-judgmental space, welcoming anyone at any experience level. Whether it’s your first time painting or you’re a seasoned artist, you’ll be guided to express yourself fully, reconnect with your inner child, and embrace the unexpected.
Reflection & expression: Pause to notice how letting go in creation can cultivate clarity, freedom, and joy, and explore ways to carry this practice forward into everyday life.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your artwork, new techniques, and a sense of playful inspiration, creative magic, and personal insight.
Mixed Media will include watercolours, oils, acrylics, colouring pencils, paint pens, pastels, collage and other unconventional materials such as bubble wrap, feathers etc.
Please bring your own lunch, snacks and hot drinks plus of course chocolate will be provided!
