Gospel arts productions (Youth Theatre) presents ... A phenomenal modnernised musical theatre adaption based on John Bunyans Immortal classic novel ‘ The Pilgrims Progress’ merged with an urban twist of The children of Israels Journey In Exodus on their way to the promise land. This play tackles the bondage of mental slavery affecting the youth in the 21st century.
The plot takes place in 21st Century Exodus In a world where a whole generation has turned into mental slaves.
The Story centres on The Childern of Gods journey from their hometown, the "City of Destruction" ("this world"),to the "Celestial City" ("that which is to come": Heaven) In New Jeruesalem. The Childern of God are weighed down by a great burden—the knowledge of sin—which came from reading (the Bible).This burden, is so unbearable that they must seek deliverance. Along the Journey they meet some dangerous characters who try to destroy their faith.
