Let It Fall Apart

By Christina (CiCi) Goktas

Overview

A Kintsugi workshop for parents of neurodivergent or highly sensitive kids who are tired from holding it all together.

Parenting a neurodivergent or highly sensitive child can be both beautiful and completely overwhelming. No two days are ever the same; and the constant need to stay patient and present can leave you stretched thin and close to breaking.

Let It Fall Apart is an evening for parents, caregivers, and neurodivergent adults who are carrying that invisible weight. It’s a gentle pause; time away from the daily intensity to reconnect with yourself and be surrounded by people who genuinely get it.

Through the Japanese art of Kintsugi (mending the broken with gold) we’ll explore what it feels like to stop holding everything together and honour the cracks instead.
Alongside others who understand, you’ll piece together something beautiful, tangible, and deeply symbolic: proof that repair can be stronger, and more honest, than perfection.

You’ll leave with:

✨ A handmade Kintsugi piece — a visual reminder that repair can be beautiful.
✨ A sense of calm, connection, and community with others who understand the realities of neurodivergent parenting.
✨ Permission to rest, reset, and feel like yourself again.

Who this is for:

🖤 Parents of neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or explosive children (no diagnosis necessary)
🖤 Neurodivergent adults navigating parenting burnout or sensory overwhelm
🖤 Caregivers who love deeply but are running on empty
🖤 Anyone craving connection, creativity, and a few hours of calm

Important to Note:

This isn’t a talk or a training.
You will receive no parenting advice, no judgement, and do not need to share.

This is time out of the daily noise — a quiet evening to slow down, connect, and remember you’re not the only one.

Places are intentionally limited to keep the group small and supportive.
If you’ve been running on empty, this is your invitation to pause.
