Hello Dear Ones

My name is Zaneta, I am Certified Pranayama(Breathwork) Yoga Teacher and I warmly invite you to join me in practicing Pranayama—a mindful breathing technique that cleanses and purifies the respiratory system, improves oxygen exchange, unblocks energy channels, anchors your mind in the present moment, restores the mind-body connection, reduces stress, supports relaxation, enhances focus, and offers much more.

Together, we’ll explore Kumbhaka Pranayama, focusing on the Internal Breath Retention technique. We'll begin with three gentle breathing ratios: 1:1:1, 1:1:2, and 1:2:2. With consistent practice, this technique (along with others) can bring deep and lasting benefits.

Please note that this breath retention technique is not recommended during pregnancy, or while recovering from illness, surgery, or injury. If you have allergies that cause discomfort when holding the breath, please refrain from this practice. Those with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), high blood pressure, vertigo, or cardiovascular conditions are also advised to avoid this technique.

Additionally, avoid heavy meals before practicing. Allow at least 2 to 2.5 hours after eating before attending a session.

There are many different forms of breathwork. In our sessions, we’ll focus on gradually increasing the length of the breathing ratios. Each ratio will be practiced daily until the next session. At that point, we’ll check in to see how comfortable everyone feels with the current counts and decide whether to increase them or continue practicing at the same level. As we build comfort and confidence, we’ll continue to progress together at a mindful and supportive pace.

Having experienced how conscious breathing has transformed my own life, I feel both honoured and inspired to share this practice with you.

In addition to breathwork sessions, I am Therapeutic Qi Gong Instructor and I also offer Therapeutic Qi Gong sessions. If you're interested, please contact me for more information. I plan to offer a 10-week Therapeutic Qi Gong course—dates to be confirmed. Online groups and private sessions are also available.

Please reserve your place in advance as there are only 8 spaces available for Kumbhaka Pranayama sessions at The Salisbury Centre. Payment can be done via bank transfer or cash.

It’s £10 per session per person. Higher price on the Eventbrite as they add their fees. You are welcome to contact me directly to pay the basic price. If you are in the place where you would like to attend but your circumstances are not allowing you to pay this amount or not at all, please don't hesitate to contact me as well.
