More information and what to expect

Your facilitators: This seasonal celebration will be facilitated by Sue Judge and Amanda Tilbury. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience rooted in both ancient and modern practices. Their synergistic approach is designed to guide you on a deeply immersive and transformative journey through the seasonal cycles. Sue is a a wholistic health practionner, naturopathic nutritionist, nature connection guide, lifestyle coach, and Elder of The Wisdom Space. Amanda Tilbury is an experienced psychotherapist with a masters degree in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy, as well as an Integral Sound Healing practitioner. She a passion and commitment for helping people through the difficulties they face and works with the natural world to support wellbeing, healing and growth.

Itinerary: Each workshop has a different focus to correspond to the earth festival being celebrated and the changing seasons. A itinerary will be sent after booking. However, you will enjoy common threads throughout the series with an emphasis on meditation, mindful movement, ritual, nature craft, journaling, and time just “be-ing” in the forest. We use sound and silence to deepen the sense of connection and always have a gift for you to take home to anchor the intentions you have set during the day.

Location: Our workshops take place at The Wise Woods project within a magical woodland near Corsham and Box in Wiltshire. We have access to shelter and the warmth of a fire-pit. We also have use of compost toilets and plenty of parking. We’ll be joined by many woodland friends so aim to keep light and noise disturbance to a minimum for their enjoyment as well as ours. We also recommend that you bring layers to adapt to changing weather conditions as we will be outside in nature and under open-sided shelters, and that you wear appropriate footwear (no open-toed shoes).

Timing: Wherever possible, our seasonal celebrations take place on the nearest Sunday before the turning point and run from 10am to 4pm during the lighter months. Celebrations can be attended as a one-off event or as a year-long / on-going journey. There will be a cumulative benefit by attending multiple events but simply attending one workshop will still bring great benefit and the potential for transformation. The Wheel of the Year is cyclical so there is no defined starting point and you are welcome to join us at any point. Every time we walk the wheel, we spiral deeper and see this as an on-going, life long journey of self and spiritual development.

Price: £80 per person. This allows us to cover our costs and to avod relying on grant funding as a nonprofit. It includes a nourishing lunch, snacks, refreshments, all activities and a gift to anchor intentions from the day. We are selling these as donation-based tickets to minimise our costs as a not-for-profit and are able to offer payment by instalments (please email us).

Food and drink: We offer hearty, healthy, and seasonal food and will have tea, proper coffee and soft drinks available throughout the day. Gluten free and dairy free options are available so so please send us any dietary requirements.

Group size: Our workshops are kept deliberately small with a maximum of13 spaces and two facilitators. This creates a safe, supportive and transformational environment of like-minded people.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this a donation-based ticket?

We run as a not-for-profit and aim to keep our costs as low as possible. Eventbrite supports donation based events by charging much lower fees which means we can offer lower prices as well. Contact us directly to enquire about concessionary spaces.

How many people will be in the group?

We offer a maximum of 13 spaces only for this event. Our events are intentionally small to create an intimate experience where people feel comfortable and have plenty of opportunities for meaningful connection.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the site itself and on the road outside. We do encourage life shares and will ask attendees to let us know if they are happy to offer this.

Is there public transport?

There is a bus stop about 10 minutes walk away. We can send details upon booking. The nearest train station is Bradford on Avon and this has a taxi rank outside. It will take about 12 minutes in a taxi from the train station to arrive at the venue.

How accessible is the venue?

There is a flat walk from the car park into the main area we will be using. However, we will be also enjoying the woodland which is on gradient and accessed via steps or a slope. We are in the process of applying for grant funding to turn the compost toilets into a disabled toilet.

What toilets and hand washing facilities do you have?

We have two compost toilets in the main area of the site by the car park and another 4 toilets in the woods. There is running water for hand washing throughout the site.

Is there drinking water?

Yes, we have mains-supplied drinking water on site

What if it is cold and wet?

We have access to various shelters and The Stable to protect us from the elements and a fire pit for warmth. However, we recommend that you bring warm and waterproof clothing for inclement weather and will send out a suggested kit list nearer the time.

Can I get a refund?

You are automatically entitled to a refund if we cancel, move or reschedule the event. We realise life is not always predictable so also offer a refund up to 7 working days before the event starts or if we are able to re-allocate your ticket after this time.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes! We can cater for all dietary requirements but you are very welcome to bring your own. If there are any allergies, we will let you know. All we ask is that you take your food and packaging away with you to help us look after the woodland.

What if I have an allergy?

Let us know on the sign up form and bring any medication you may need with you.
