By creating a framework we want to enhance understanding of the transformative power of peer support and its core values and practices.
We want to work with you to create a practical, flexible framework that empowers people to champion and grow peer support across the country. Our goal is to ensure that peer support is recognised for its unique qualities and is clearly distinguished from other forms of mental health support.
Join us for this online participatory workshop where, through discussion and activities, we'll explore the purpose and role of the framework and gather your views on what needs to be included to help peer support in Scotland flourish.
If you are unable to attend this event, but would like to be involved in the development of this framework please contact Emma Houston, Projects Coordinator emma.houston@scottishrecovery.net or by using the organisation contact details below.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for people in Scotland working in peer roles (paid or voluntary), service leads and managers of peer workers, and people with lived experience who have taken part in peer support relationships.
Due to our funding commitments this event is for people living and working in Scotland but learning and updates will be shared in our newsletter
