Join us and your peers after AI in ADR: Fundamentals to discuss what you have learned and offer a new perspective. Have the experts omitted anything; do you agree with their take on AI fundamentals? You don’t have to join the webinar to discuss benefits and risks of relying on AI in ADR.

Moderators: Stephen Dowling, Kateryna Honcharenko, Monica Crespo.

Please note, times listed are in BST (GMT+1).

Series: AI and ADR: Theory and Practice

In recent years new technology has become an integral part of the legal profession. It has, however, in the case of artificial intelligence (AI), also become a stumbling block. AI tools are capable of significantly increasing our professional efficiency, but unconditional reliance on AI may also adversely affect the procedural efficiency of arbitration (and other types of ADR), due process, confidentiality, enforceability and other principal procedural matters. The question many dispute resolution practitioners try to answer is to what extent AI can be used in their work.

Together with our partners TrialView and Jus Mundi, Ciarb is hosting a series of educational and networking events to explore the realm of AI, AI tools and their application. We will discuss how AI can be utilised in an efficient and safe manner and what parties, counsels and tribunals should consider before resorting to the use of AI tools.

Throughout 2024, we will hold three webinars and three Let’s Discuss networking events. Each webinar will focus on a theme, which will then be discussed further during a Let’s Discuss networking session a few weeks after.

This will give our attendees an opportunity to not only learn from experts on the matter, but also from each other, and to progress their professional development.
