This ‘Lets get Curious’ course is designed to support and enthuse practitioners to deliver an inspirational experience for children, using natural and authentic materials. This course specifically looks at how we can deliver awe & wonder and curious learning. The Ofsted Early Years Inspection Handbook states: 134. “It is the role of the setting to help children experience the awe and wonder of the world in which they live, through the seven areas of learning.”
Building on the provision of an enabling environment, this course is designed to further develop key aspects in the delivery of a quality curriculum. Natural and authentic resources provide a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about the awe and wonder of the world and supports their creativity and critical thinking. This course examines how to create a highly curious and engaging learning environment with child accessible resources and how to support practitioners to get the individualised learning for each child from it.
This course has been prepared to help you support the children in your care with consideration of the current Covid-19 pandemic and its restrictions.
