About the Event

🎅 Get into the holiday spirit with a magical canal adventure from Eldonian Village to the Lock & Quay Community Pub! 🚣‍♀️

🌟 What to Expect:🎄 All participants will kick off the festivities with a FREE festive hat, hot chocolate, and a scrumptious mince pie.

🎁 Embrace the season by wearing your most colourful festive jumper, decorating your boat with tinsel, and singing along to your favourite carols!

🌆 The Winter Wonderland Journey:

🌟 Our 2-mile paddle will transport you to a winter wonderland featuring charming festive stalls.

🍔 Enjoy complimentary hot food from Lock & Quay Community Pub and Bootle Canoe Club.

🚣‍♀️ Your Paddle Choices:🌊 Reserve a spot on one of our canoe rafts OR bring your own boat!

🚤 We welcome all types of watercraft, including stand-up paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks.

⚙️ For Participants with Their Own Equipment:

📅 Before you join us, please:1️⃣ Secure your ticket.2️⃣ Hold British Canoe membership (or an equivalent qualification).3️⃣ Safeguard yourself with a properly fitting buoyancy aid.4️⛵ Ensure your equipment is in good working order.5️🌦️ Dress appropriately for the weather.6️👫 Stay with your instructor for the entire session.

🕙 Event Schedule:🕙 Arrive around 10 AM to savour your hot chocolate and mince pie.👉 Following your arrival, our friendly staff will guide you to your canoe raft and/or instructor❌ If you arrive after the group has departed, kindly refrain from accessing the water without instructor supervision.📣 Don't miss this spectacular holiday adventure! Please book one time slot per person. Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are suitable for adults and children aged seven years old and above, providing an introduction to paddling in a safe and enjoyable manner. Explore our stunning waterways while learning about their history and encountering incredible wildlife along the way.

Parents and guardians must accompany their children on this paddle. Walk-ins will not be accepted. If you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or contact us to allow others to participate. All Equipment will be provided.
