Thu 6 July 2017, 09:45 – 21:30 BST
Let’s Listen London 2017 is a unique event that will offer insight into the vital business importance of achieving good hearing among business professionals. It will spotlight the needless loss of talent and expertise that can be prevented by implementing some simple hearing solutions, resulting in enhanced staff retention, motivation, productivity and trust at all levels.
Leading UK hearing loss charity Hearing Link and the Master of the Worshipful Company of Feltmakers on behalf of the Feltmakers Charitable Foundation are hosting this ground-breaking event to:
- provide insight into the prevalence and impact of hearing loss at work
- enable businesses to design strategies that will identify, support and retain experienced and valued talent whose hearing is impacting their performance
- demonstrate some of the solutions (technological and behavioural) that improve hearing in the workplace
This event is essential for anyone who manages skilled talent and who is concerned to optimise the productivity of their staff. It will also offer invaluable information and practical demonstrations to individuals who are becoming aware of changes in their own hearing.
UK’s leading hearing industry and accessibility specialists, such as BT, Lipreading Practice, Gordon Morris and Phonak, GN ReSound, UK Hearing Care, Medico Testing Solutions and Conversor, will exhibit and run workshops to explore simple, inexpensive solutions to manage hearing loss at work, including personal and group hearing solutions. Hearing Awareness Training and personal hearing assessments will also be available on the day.
A Gala Dinner in the Haberdashers' Hall will round off the day, along with a charity silent auction. Fundraising proceeds will go to Hearing Link and The Feltmakers Charitable Foundation. Guest speakers include Lorraine Gailey, Hearing Link’s CEO and one of Hearing Link's well-known Patrons.
Early bird tickets are available until 19th May 2017.
