Event description
Free workshop featuring a range of guided meditation techniques designed to give you an experience of the inner peace of meditation.

About this event

Let’s Meditate is about the inner peace and inspiration of coming together for the experience of collective meditation, and this programme is created to offer you the genuine experience of meditation. For those new to meditation, it offers a simple and practical introduction. For those already experienced, it is an opportunity for an energizing group meditation bringing inner joy and inspiration.

The workshop is based on the teachings of spiritual master Sri Chinmoy, and the class givers are all experienced meditators with over 20 years experience of this path. The workshop will include techniques in concentration, breath work, visualisation, mantra and live music (depending on current covid guidelines), building an immersive and accessible meditation-experience throughout the morning. There will be a short break in the middle - the Community Centre cafe is open for refreshments.

Places are currently limited to allow for social distancing, but we are operating a waiting list so that as restrictions lift we can increase the number of places available. For this reason admission will be by ticket only. If you have a place but can no longer attend, please do cancel your booking so that we can offer your place to someone else on the waiting list.
