Starting off in Failsworth we will take part in litter clearance, planting, and paddleboarding in order to clear the area and slowly make our way towards Newton Heath!

Whether you want to stay on dry land or have a go on the water, there's something for everyone!

Learn to pick litter from a paddleboard for FREE with a qualified instructor . All the equipment is provided, so all you need to do is book in on this free session and turn up on the day.

There will be TWO paddling sessions, a morning and afternoon to allow for clean up and a break for lunch at 12:30pm. Paddleboards will be provided with attachable seats for comfort whilst litter picking - we do not advise standing during this activity.

Please wear appropriate clothes, a change is advised, and dress warm for the weather.

No experience needed, our friendly instructor will be there to help you take your first steps into the world of paddlesport!

Paddlesport sessions are designed for adults and young people over the age of 16. All ages can join in with towpath events with supervision.

COVID-19 compliance 2021

1, if you or a person in your support bubble have any symptoms of COVID-19 please do not attend the event

2, Spectators should follow local government guidance on group size and avoid standing in large groups

3, All equipment will be sanitised before each session

4, Hand sanitizer must be used prior to the event.

5, Where possible a 2 metre distance should be observed

Allow for a short delay when booking in as we need to ensure previous participants have cleared the area

We make the events as safe and fun as possible under the current circumstances

Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
