Lets Talk About Consent

Welcome to Lets Talk About Consent!

Raising confident, respectful children starts with the conversations we have at home.

Let’s Talk About Consent is a warm, practical class for parents and carers who want to explore how to guide their children through tricky topics—without fear, shame, or confusion.

In a world full of mixed messages and digital pressure, consent and communication are more important than ever. This session gives you tools, scripts, and confidence to support your child—and yourself—with clarity and care.

What We’ll Cover:

  • Consent Basics – What it is, what it isn’t, and how to talk about it early and often
  • Modelling Boundaries – How to say no with love, and hear it from your child without fear
  • Digital Respect – Phones, photos, DMs and what consent means online
  • Breaking Generational Silence – Moving beyond shame and “just do as I say”
  • Practical Tools – Scripts and responses for when the questions get awkward

This Class is For You If:

  • You’re a parent or carer of a young person aged 9–18
  • You want to raise emotionally safe, respectful children
  • You’ve struggled to find the right words or moment to talk about consent
  • You value honest, shame-free conversations rooted in real life

What You’ll Receive:

  • 90-minute live class with time for Q&A
  • Replay link to revisit or watch later
  • Downloadable script prompts and reflection guide
