Did you know that the mortality rate for black women in childbirth is five times higher than white women?

Did you know that only 1% of people that give blood in England are black?

Did you know that black people are less likely to seek medical treatment for mental health issues?

Join us on the 6th March for our first 'Let's talk about...' discussion of 2020. The topic is 'Do black lives matter to the NHS?'. We'll be unpacking an array of different points surrounding this discussion topic with our amazing panel of experts.

Come ready to discuss the black mentality towards healthcare both physical and mental. As well as, whether there truly is less regard for black lives by NHS professionals.

We don't just want to talk about it, we also want to be about it. So not only will you walk away with new thought provoking ideas but you'll also leave knowing more about how you can actually make an impact.
