Event description

Okay, so let's talk about money. It’s never easy discussing how you get more money from your manager, but we’ve all been in situations where we want to negotiate our salaries, ask for a promotion or move away from feeling undervalued.

DevelopHer is proud to partner with Thread, to host a panel speaker event bringing inspiring speakers from different industries to give their own tips, advice and experiences on how they’ve negotiated and communicated their own worth. We'll discuss all things money - how to get it, how to ask for it and how to value it.

During the panel event we’ll touch on the following topics:

  • How to document your achievements

  • How to communicate your value

  • Tactics for negotiating salaries, bonus or packages

  • Where to find the right support and how to spot the right opportunities

  • How to respond when things don’t go your way

  • What to do with your money when you do get it

On the panel discussion we have the following speakers sharing their experiences and advice:

You'll also have the chance to network and get advice with others in the same situation as you.

7.15 - Introductions
7.30 - Panel Discussion on Negotiating Money
8.30 - Q&A - come armed with questions!
