About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

It's common knowledge that not every disability is immediately visible, but how much do you really know about non-visible disabilities?

Award-winning writer and speaker Pippa Stacey will guide you through the key things you should know about non-visible disabilities in 2025 and share her own lived experiences of managing a chronic illness and non-visible symptoms in everyday life.

Join Pippa as she covers types of non-visible disabilities, the language and narratives surrounding them, the realities of stigma and gaslighting, structural and societal barriers in day-to-day life, and how we can overcome them to build a society that's more compassionate and inclusive for all.

Find out more about Pippa’s background on her blog, Life Of Pippa.
