COVID19 and Lockdown has hit us all hard!!!

It has most certainly hit the Voluntary Sector very hard, in that normal services have been redirected, postponed, changed and in some circumstances stopped altogether.

Generating income into the Voluntary Sector has been difficult, from having fundraising stopped in lots of places, to spending lots of time searching, writing and re-writing funding applications and thinking of new ways to generate new income streams.

Furthermore, the Voluntary sector is having to look at alternative ways to keep your service users, communities, etc, informed of when you are open, what you can still provide, what you cannot do, all through marketing and social media. In some instances you are having to learn all about marketing, strategy, marketing calendars, social media, planning, etc, all from scratch, whilst providing the services that you do.

There is so much more to say on what has been taken away or had to be stopped because of COVID19 and the Lockdowns, and this can also impact your organisations governance, but, all of this comes at a time when voluntary organisations are so very much needed by so many people.
