About this event:

Let’s Talk Black Maternity is a safe and supportive space for Caribbean and African parents to learn, share and prepare for positive pregnancy and birth experiences.

This mini seminar is designed for first-time mums, VBAC mothers, women who have faced difficult maternity care and the partners and fathers who support them. Together, we’ll explore practical tools, lived experiences and strategies for navigating maternity care with confidence.

Speakers include doula and birth educator Debbie and father Dwaine, who brings insight into supporting Black mothers during birth. Expect guidance, real talk and an open Q&A.

Date: Saturday 18th October 2025 | Time: 2–5 PM
Tickets: £20 standard | £35 couples (expecting mum + father/birth partner) | £15 concession

This event is proudly hosted by Black British Parent, creating supportive spaces for Caribbean and African heritage families.
