Event description
A short story discussion group - like a book club with very short books!

About this Event

This is a place to gather during the lockdown. This is a time carved out for you, a time to meet like-minded friends, a time for a chat.

Pour yourself a glass of wine or a mug of coffee and snuggle down on a virtual sofa for a good old chinwag about a story.

Each week we will take one short story, read it together and discuss it. It might be an old story, it might be brand new. You do not need to read the story beforehand, but it will be available free online so you can access the text before the group starts. It's like a bookclub with very short books.

We will meet online on Zoom. There will be a maximum of 10 people in the group.

You will not be asked to buy a ticket, but you do need to book a ticket. If you'd like to make a small donation of a few pounds, that would be lovely.

About the discussion group

Clare aims to create a warm and friendly space where we can spend some time with stories. A space to relieve some of the lonlieness and isolation of our current situation.

This group is particularly helpful for those who are reading as writers.

Who is she??

Clare Reddaway reads and writes short stories. Her stories have been published widely and won a number of national competitions. She has organised a live lit event in Bath for the last 8 years, Story Friday, with colleagues Kilter Theatre. Clare runs monthly writing workshops at her home in central Bath - and now, in a very modern way, online.
