Where can I park?

Parking is plentiful in the area around this venue but will require payment - you can park in the University Car Park for only £2! There are also easy public transport links. If you are not local to Ipswich or are unfamiliar with the area, we advise you to use Google Maps to help plan your journey.

Can we attend as a group?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! This event has been coordinated specifically so that you can attend with your friends, family, partner, etc. If attending as a pair or group, select "Group Admission" and then click the + symbol to add each member. This will entitle you to 25% off overall the cost.

Question 3

How do I book my breakout sessions?

Accepted Answer

You will be asked to choose your sessions upon booking/purchasing your tickets. Please note that the key speaker sessions with Kate Muir and Dr Rebecca Lewis are for all attendees. If booking as a pair or group, please make sure you correctly choose the sessions for each individual.

Do I have to attend the whole day?

Accepted Answer

While we would love to welcome you for the whole day, we understand this isn't always possible. It is absolutely fine for you to attend a select few of the sessions rather than all of those available - simply choose your sessions upon booking/purchasing your tickets.

Will there be food provided?

Accepted Answer

The Hold benefits from its own cafe facilities which event attendees are able to buy refreshments from. The Women's Institute will be holding one of their famous bake sales and a local food truck will be situated in the garden for hot lunch options. You are also welcome to bring a packed lunch.

Can we go elsewhere for lunch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course! The Hold is located along the waterfront, which is home to several cafes, restaurants and bars. We only ask that you are mindful of the time if you do leave the venue, we don't want you to miss any of the sessions!

Question 7

Is there somewhere to safely store my coat and other belongings?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are coat racks and secure lockers available for attendees - although these are limited to a 'first come, first served' basis.

Question 8

Is this venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, The Hold is entirely wheelchair accessible.

Question 9

I do not want my photo taken on the day - what do I do?

Accepted Answer

Please email info@letstalkwomenshealth.com to let us know if you do not wish to have your photo taken during the event. We will communicate this to our on the day photographer/s who will endeavour to exclude you.

Can I purchase tickets on the day?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately not. Tickets need to be purchased and breakout sessions confirmed in advance.
