Canalside Weekly Wellbeing Walk Thursdays 11am-2pm
Slow to Moderate Pace
The Walks
The weekly walks, run by Canal & River Trust, are led by qualified walk leaders who are also full of interesting information about the local area. The walks vary from week to week and follow routes which include canal towpaths. The walks will be set at a slow to moderate pace. Toilets are available during the walks. There is often a stop at a local cafe after the walk for those who want to stay.
Meeting Point
The meeting point is outside Hackney Wick Station, White Post Lane, London, E9 5LN (what3words///nail.crowds.will). Please be aware that the location can change so if you're interested, please register and you'll be informed.
What you need
The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining.
Book now
Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
