What do I need to wear?

Wear sensible shoes, weather appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water.

There are public car parks available nearby, including the Quays multi-storey and Southgate Moorings.

What will the surface be like underfoot?

Whilst the route follows recognised footpaths the surface will be muddy and uneven at times, and includes a number of stiles. Walk leaders may adapt routes to better suit the group on the day if needed.

Yes, there is an accessible toilet and further facilities in the main museum where the walk starts and finishes and there may be public toilets available at other locations along the route.

Can I get refreshments?

Our cafe at the waterways museum sells hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks.
