About this Event
Join us for a free guided canal walk as part of Age UK's Silver Sunday. This walk is especially for older people, and their loved ones and cares. Explore and hear a little history, on this relaxed out and back walk, along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and the Thanet Canal (also known as the Springs Branch) in Skipton.
- Meet at the back of Skipton Bus station by the canal bridge (Gallows Bridge) at 10.30am on Sunday 5th October

Book now
Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
