Come along to our circular walk to where the Calder and Hebble Navigation Channel meets the Rochdale Canal at Sowerby Bridge.

See the UK’s deepest single lock in action, as our volunteer lock keepers showcase Tuel Lock.

This will be a shorter, steady walk starting and ending in Sowerby Bridge and will take in the canal and the river.

Meeting in The Wharf carpark.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.

Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
