Event description

Description

Letter To My Body aims to improve the confidence of young girls by giving them a space to freely converse and network.

The project aspires to help girls feel inspired and give them insightful info on things they may not openly speak about in the home, whilst bridging the generational gap between women and girls sharing stories and feeling closer.

Join this year's special panellists:
Reem Iskandarani

This year's panellists will be discussing topics revolving around womanhood and the beauty it encompasses. Topics include ( but are not imited to) body insecurities, confidence, and societal expectations of being a woman. Too often are women shunned for being confident in their bodies, and further ridiculed for openly speaking about their bodies. Letter to My Body is a safe space that enables authenic conversation between women and girls of varying backgrounds. All you've got to do is turn up with your lived experiences and open ears!

The second half of the event is a creative workshop which will allow you to connect with your body through art.

Leave us feeling brand new, empowered and dazzling, ready to conquer the world- and with a new friend! Afterall, "We all move forward when we recognise how resilient and striking the women around us are" -Rupi Kaur
