Learn how to stop worrying about things that don’t really matter.
We often have trouble letting go of painful events in our past and can feel overwhelmed by our present difficulties. We can blame others or ourselves over and over again and remain trapped in a state of anger and discouragement. Through Buddha’s teachings on cause and effect and how to purify our mind, we can illuminate the source of pain and difficulty in our lives and learn methods to release it completely.
In this workshop we will examine our mind and our mental habits and our tendency to mentally repeat and replay a feeling, and the events leading up to it. By doing so we can swept away in an emotionally, physiologically and spiritually destructive current that leads to depression, anxiety, or resentment. By overcoming these process and allowing ourselves to let go of the past, we can enjoy the freedom of the present moment and the happiness that comes with it.
Guided and taught by Buddhist Nun Kelsang Chitta. Chitta’s meditation classes are both relaxing and practical, containing tried and tested methods to promote inner peace and are filled with pragmatic advice on how to find genuine happiness in our daily lives.
