You will be sent the Highfield workbook the week before the course, which you will find beneficial to complete in your own time. You then come to see us for the 1-day session and take the multiple-choice official APLH exam.
If you are currently working in licensed premises, it will help your learning if you read the premises licence - particularly the operating schedule - before you attend the course.
The course fee includes all course materials along with the Awarding Body learner registration and examination fee. Lunch is included (let us know about special requirements).
Please bring with you original photographic proof of idenitifcation to show the exam invigilator - a photo driving licence or passport is ideal. You will not be able to sit the exam without it. If you are not able to take the exam for this reason, you will not be entitled to a refund, although we will assist you with sitting the exam on an alternative date. Let us know in advance if you do not have a passport or driving licence, and we will look at other options to verify your identity.
