The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is aimed at those who feel that they do not need a full 3 day First Aid at Work course.

· Unconscious Casualty Management including the Recovery Position
· Wounds and bleeds
· AED awareness
· First Aid and the Law
· Safe use of First Aid Equipment
· Acting Safely including prevention of cross infection
· Recording incidents

Please note that candidates must be able to perform exercises at floor level where required. It is a requirement of all regulated courses that the candidate should be able to communicate effectively with Emergency Services and, although this is not assessed formally, your instructor must be satisfied that this is the case. As such, all the question papers are in English and a reader will be provided if candidates have literacy concerns or learning difficulties.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You have to be at least 14 years old to participate in the course and must be able to produce photo ID on the day. Acceptable forms of ID include photocard driving license, passports, National ID cards, Staff passes, CIS cards. If you are in doubt, please check with us in advance
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
