FareShare is a UK wide charity fighting hunger and food waste. We redistribute surplus food to frontline charities and community groups that support vulnerable people. FareShare redistributes 10,795 tonnes of food to reach 995 towns, cities and villages, providing food for 21.9 million meals a year and supporting 499,140 people every week. By ensuring good food is not wasted we turn an environmental problem into a social solution.
Everyone who works within a food environment has a special responsibility for safe-guarding the health of the consumers. This course covers the things you need to do to ensure that the food you make, serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat. All principles covered in the course are based on thorough scientific research, operational experience and legal requirements.
HABC is the fastest growing Awarding Body in the UK. They are recognised by Ofqual, Welsh Government, CCEA and SQA to award accredited Food Safety, Health and Safety, HACCP, First Aid, Licensing, Security (SIA), Fire Safety and Teaching qualifications in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
