Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work - Canterbury

The Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.
Upon successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.
Our full day training includes:
The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
Assessing an incident
Managing an unresponsive casualty
CPR, Recovery Position
Wounds and bleeding
Minor injuries including Cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds
The instructor for this course has many years of experience working in the both NHS and private ambulance services both frontline 999 calls, patient transport and training services, Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) as lifeboat crew and medic and NHS Trusts as both a training officer and manager. The instructor believes in teaching in a relaxed atmosphere and making the learning fun but at the same time providing real life situations that they have experianced to help with the understanding of being a first aider.
