Level 2 Health and Social Care: Principles and Contexts - Preparing to Teach event

This full day course is designed for teachers preparing to teach or interested to learn more about WJEC Level 2 Health and Social Care: Principles and Contexts for first teaching from 2019 *. Each session will look in-depth at the new specification including its assessment objectives, examination structure and other key areas and review sample assessment materials.

*This qualification is available to learners aged 16 and over.

Outcomes for delegates:

• Gain an understanding of the content and assessment requirements of the new specification.

• Understand the benefits of the new specification for you and your learners.

• Support planning for teaching, including information on resources and useful contacts.

• An opportunity to network with colleagues and subject specialists.

You will also be provided with a comprehensive pack of materials which you can take away with you and share with colleagues.

Personnel

The course is led by subject specialists who have in-depth experience and knowledge of the content. They will be subject officers, specification developers, examiners or moderators with a wealth of experience in this field.

FREE (including refreshments and course materials).

• Due to anticipated popularity, places are limited to two delegates per centre.

It is expected that you will cascade the information shared at this event to other colleagues at your centre. To support this, a webinar using this course content will be available to those who are unable to attend. We will provide more information about the webinar series soon.
