About this Event

Would you like to learn how to support those around you when they are struggling with their mental health?

Would you like to learn how to take better care of your own wellbeing?

Would you like to make your business more resilient by creating more resilient teams?

Mental Health in the Workplace won’t teach you to be a therapist, but it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and potentially stop a crisis from happening.

You’ll learn how to recognise the warning signs of mental ill health and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.

Attending this course will give you the skills and knowledge to empower people to access the support they need for recovery or successful management of their symptoms, and in the process create a more mentally supportive workplace where your workforce are more engaged, motivated and productive with reduced absenteeism, lower staff turnover and an increased reputation as an employer with the ability to attract high calibre staff. You’ll gain an understanding of how to support positive wellbeing and tackle stigma in the world around you.

Level 2
