Overview
Adult Support and Protection is everyone's business, continue to develop your knowledge and understanding with level 2 multi-agency training
The aim of the level 2 (skilled) module is to support you in recognising adults at risk of harm and the processes involved in adult support and protection.
Learning Outcomes
- To be confident in identifying harm for an adult
- To explore why Adult Support and Protection is needed
- How to act on relevant legislation in relation to Adult Support & Protection and other legislation for adults
- How to implement and use local Adult Protection Procedures
- Your Duty to Report, Inquire & Co-operate in Adult Support and Protection matters
- Roles & Responsibilities of appropriate agencies & professionals fulfilling Adult Support & Protection legislative functions
- Attendance and participation at an Adult Support & Protection Case Conference
Venue:
Training will take place at West Lothian Civic Centre, Howden South Road, Livingston.
Please note refreshments will not be provided during this session, however there are a number of local services available to you.
