Level 2 Safeguarding of Vulnerable people (SOVA)

Our Safeguarding course is designed for any staff who work with vulnerable adults and will raise awareness of the importance of Safeguarding Vulnerable People. Staff completing this course will be in a better position to implement their company adult protection policy and the procedures they should follow. This training is very useful for anyone already working in care or would like to work in the care sector.

- Understanding what makes an adult vulnerable and open to abuse.
- Different types of abuse
- Recognising the signs of abuse
- Symptoms relating to abuse
- Dealing effectively with abuse
- Reporting and record keeping
At the end of this training, you will be equipped to work with vulnerable adults in a more effective way and you will be able to recognise signs of abuse and also have knowledge of how to deal with abuse. You will receive a certificate of completion on the day, after successful assessment in the form of a multiple choice test.
