Safer Places Professional Training and Development are a registered provided for the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Domestic Abuse. This qualification is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. Learners must be aged 16 and above. There is no specific prior skills/knowledge a learner must have to complete this qualification.
To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully achieve 4 mandatory units and learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes by completion of one assignment per unit.
Unit 1 Understanding domestic abuse
Unit 2 Understanding the signs and risk factors associated with domestic abuse
Unit 3 Understand the impact of domestic abuse
Unit 4 Understand policy, response, and intervention in relation to domestic abuse
The format of this course is e-learning, where you will be able to complete the course in your own time. Once a course is purchased, you will be granted access to the online learning platform the following Monday at 12pm where you will be able access the course content and complete the assignments (1 assignment per unit).
We start courses every Monday at 12pm.
Please note that you will have 8 weeks to complete the course from the date of receiving access to the online learning platform.
