Are you an employer who has a need for people in your workforce to be trained in First Aid?
GB-EMS is the training company that uses experienced and practicing ambulance staff to train a wide range of medical skills, including First Aid. The Level 3 First Aid at Work is an Ofqual registered qualification that with give a certification valid for three years per person.
As a regulated qualification, employers know that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, and individuals know they are getting the highest level of education. Although this course is aimed at workplace employees, any individual can attend and gain a set of invaluable life skills and a qualification employers will recognise. Moreover, this course is especially recommended for those who wish to gain a foundation in first aid with the ambition to work in the ambulance industry.
With no prior knowledge or qualifications needed to enrol in this course, you will learn the following over three days of practical training:
The role of a First Aider, Assessing and incident, Managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, Recovery Position, Heart Attack, Stroke, Chocking, Epilepsy, Asthma, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis, Shock, Head & Spinal Injuries, Chest Injuries, Fractures, Sprains and Strains, Minor Injuries, Burn Management, Poisoning, Eye Injuries & Safe use of an AED
As an included bolt on to this course we are also including: Safe use of an Epi-pen & Catastrophic Bleeding.
Students must be able to make their own way to and from our Training Centre, there is free parking on site.

Do I need any previous experience to attend this training?
No! This course is designed for candidates that do not have any prior first aid knowledge, or previous qualifications. Those that do have previous training are still welcome to attend as these candidates will only add the depth of classroom discussion.
What are my parking options at the event?
There is a free carpark dedicated to GB-EMS patrons on site.
What should I bring into the event?
Please bring a packed lunch with you each day. Please also wear comfortable clothing as there are practical elements to the training. The ability to take notes if recommended in preparation for written examinations.
