Who is Level 3 Safe Space for?
For anyone leading a team of adults, at least one leader per meeting (leader, assistant leader, leader in training), mentors, advisers, coordinators (except GO coordinators), licence holders on residential events, trainers, tutors and those that require level 4.
These trainings are not open to Young Leaders or members under the age of 18 years old. If you hold a role in BGO, this course may not include the laws of the country you volunteer in so please contact us before booking to make sure this training covers everything you need it to.
This course is primarily for volunteers from Girlguiding Anglia. If you don't need this level or are from outside our region, please email Events@girlguiding-anglia.org.uk and we can put you on a waiting list.
Prior learning:
Don't forget, you will need to have completed Level 1 and 2 Safe Space to attend this training. It's often helpful to complete the Level 3 e-learning too as this will help all participants start the training with the same understanding. E-learnings for all three levels can be found on the Girlguiding website.
Where?
This course will be hosted on Zoom, don't worry if you have not used this before, we have some resources to help you. You'll need to be in a quiet place in your own space, probably at home. In order for us to support you as best as we can, do think about your surroundings, find somewhere quiet, make your own refreshments and arrange child-care if needed.
Cost?
Sessions are free however spaces are limited so please book a space. We expect demand to be high so please only book if you are certain you can attend. If an emergency arises, which means you cannot attend, please contact Events@girlguiding-anglia.org.uk in case we can offer your space to someone else.
