This course is suitable for you if you are the owner/director of a food or drinks business: as you are directly responsible for food safety in your business. This course is also suitable for managers, supervisors and senior hygiene personnel such as:
quality assurance personnel
trainers interested in delivering food hygiene courses
owners or managers of food businesses
supervisors with intermediate food hygiene knowledge
shift managers or supervisors
The CIEH Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering qualification is also suitable for those wishing to deliver CIEH food safety qualifications as part of their training provision.
Level 4 Food Safety Assessment Methodology
The assessment methodology for the CIEH Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering now comprises a controlled assignment and an examination paper both of which are to be completed under examination conditions.
Before the controlled assignment, candidates are required to produce a scoping document of their chosen workplace. Candidates who are not currently employed can base their scoping document on a previous workplace or will have to gain work experience sufficient to produce the details required to complete a scoping document.
