Leveraging Diversity: Disability and Health
Approximately 16% of the adult population aged 18 and older worldwide is disabled.
Disabled people experience lower labour market participation rates than the non-disabled and tend to be concentrated in lower-skilled, lower-paid occupations. Low participation rates are costly for the individuals concerned in terms of economic and psychological well-being and for society in terms of the impact of social exclusion and discrimination on civic participation and public life.
Join us at 29's Private Member Club to discuss how we can encourage diversity in entrepreneurship and business which allows people with disabilities to break down the barriers facing them and achieve their goals.
