🥾 Lewes Circular Hike – Three Hills Challenge & Mount Caburn Views South Downs walks | Lewes circular hike | Mount Caburn trail | advanced hiking near London | Sussex hill walks Up for a challenge and a great night’s sleep? Join GO London Hiking for this rewarding circular route beginning and ending in the historic town of Lewes. This trail includes three distinct hill climbs across the South Downs, offering far-reaching views to the sea and surrounding Sussex countryside. We’ll follow undulating terrain with plenty of variety – and if your legs hold out, take a final detour up to Mount Caburn, where panoramic views make the extra effort more than worth it. For those needing a shorter option, the route conveniently passes two train stations between each hill, offering early exits if required. But we hope you’ll stick with us until the celebratory finish back in Lewes. Expect exposed ridgelines, chalky paths, and wind-in-your-hair vibes – a classic South Downs day out for experienced walkers.
