Welcome to the Lewisham Safeguarding Adults Board - Citizen's Assembly! Join us at the Civic Suite on September 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM (Europe/London) for an engaging discussion on adult safeguarding in our community.

This event aims to bring together citizens to share their thoughts and ideas on how we can better protect vulnerable adults. Let's work together to create a safer and more inclusive environment for all. See you there!

The overall aim is to be able to:

1. Collate feedback on the experiences of residents in relation to abuse and neglect, measure this against existing records and intelligence to check for any gaps in trends.
2. Produce 2-3 case studies that can be used to help inform training and briefings, and consider other potential resources we can create.
3. Assess the Board’s current priorities and objectives to make sure these are accurate and relevant.
4. Ensure that everyone that attends has a better understanding of the subject and as a result is in a better place to prevent abuse.
