Inspired by the Book Picnic organised by the Glasgow Women's Library Joy and Pauline would like to invite you to our first local book picnic. The Book Picnic is an opportunity to share your LGBTQIA+ book recommendations with us & what they mean to you, as well as a chance to find more. If you don’t feel like sharing you can also just come along and be inspired by what other people have read and find new books to fall in love with.

We’ll talk a bit about the books we have read why they inspired us or challenged us and then we'll leave the floor to you share some of your ideas or ask us questions. We will leave time to browse the books and for everyone to have a chat after.

Please feel free to bring along books you’d like to share yourself. We’ll take a note of any and be assured no books are allowed to leave the event.
