By LGBT Health and Wellbeing

Overview

An LGBT History Month Tour of Glasgow for Trans and Nonbinary People with Radical Glasgow Tours

Get connected with your community and your city this LGBT History Month. Join us and Radical Glasgow Tours for a look at Glasgow's LGBTQ+ past and present.

Our tour through Glasgow City Centre will reveal some hidden gems and we'll have a resource zine and a game of queer Glasgow bingo while we walk. The tour will last around two hours. The distance is around 1.5-2 miles (approx 3km) on city pavements and riverside paths.

You can find out more about Radical Glasgow Tours and follow them on their website.

Exact meeting point will be sent by email closer to the event.

Please note this event is for trans and nonbinary people only. Please do not book unless you are trans/nonbinary.

Who we welcome

We welcome all trans and nonbinary folks over 16, as well as people with a trans history or are exploring their gender. Anyone living in or travelling to Glasgow can join.

Registration

Spaces are limited so please register in advance.

Use this Eventbrite form to register. Registration is for 1 person only. If you wish to book for someone, please make another registration using their name. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email.

If something changes and you can no longer attend the event, please let us know as soon as you can so your space becomes available for someone else. You can cancel your space on Eventbrite or contact Eve.

Access

Our route will be on city pavements and riverside paths and will be delivered with accessibility in mind, however we are in a busy city so there can be issues such as parked cars blocking dropped kerbs. The route is around 1.5-2 miles (approx 3km) and there may be limited opportunity to sit down. For full accessibility information please see here.

Remember to dress with the weather in mind!

If you’d like to let us know of anything that LGBT Health and Wellbeing can do to make the event easier to access, or if you have any questions, please get in touch with Eve: eve@lgbthealth.org.uk, or call 0141 255 1767 and leave a message for Eve (working days are Tuesday and Wednesday)
