To tie in with the LGBTHM 2022 theme of art, we started a project in November 2021 asking LGBT+ people across HMPPS to create a piece of art work in response to the question "What does belonging & inclusion mean to you?". There's been a lot of interest and entries, bringing together an incredibly special collection for us to unveil during LGBTHM celebrations. We're excited to see and share the full results.

The launch event will run from 10:00-12:30 with speakers providing more detail about the project, before unveiling the exhibition for attendees to browse between 12:30-14:00.

This is an in-person event and to ensure it is Covid safe and minimise potential spread, please take note of and adhere to the below:

It will be in the Newbold Revel lecture theatre, please sign in via the car park entrance doors
If you come into contact with someone who is Covid positive a week prior to the event and need to undertake testing, please cancel your attendance.
To ensure the safety of others, please ensure that you are up-to-date with Covid vaccinations & boosters and any person attending the event will show proof of a negative LFD test taken within the last 48 hours
Please wear a mask when inside the marquee and unable to social distance
Hand sanitiser will be available, one way systems & limits on numbers in congested areas will apply
If you test positive for Covid in the week following the event, please inform organisers ASAP

As the pandemic is still ongoing and restrictions are subject to change, this will require a dynamic decision closer to the time being to ensure it adheres to the most recent rules in operation. This means that the event is subject to change and may be cancelled at any point if there are increased restrictions or imposition of measures such as lockdown.
