Event description

Description

LGBTI people are far more likely to smoke than the general population.

But why? And what can we do as a community to help LGBTI smokers to quit altogether or switch to smoke-free alternatives?

We’re inviting LGBTI community leaders, supporters and politicians for an evening at The Embassy to highlight smoking, the harm it does to our community, and what we’re doing to tackle this issue.

The evening will feature expert guest speakers, interviews and performances to put a spotlight on the issue as never before within our community.

This event is in partnership with our health section sponsor Philip Morris Limited and their Unsmoke your World campaign - a campaign to rid smoke from our lives.

As well as drinks and canapés, guests will also have an opportunity to share their views about how our community can quit smoking or switch to smoke-free alternatives.
