The Terrence Higgins Trust provides FREE specialist training for professionals and carers living or working in Milton Keynes. THIS COURSE IS FOR PEOPLE LIVING OR WORKING IN MILTON KEYNES ONLY.

The are 3 modules to this training and you can register to attend which one/s you are interested in (all if you wish). This is module 1

The learning outcomes for all three modules are:

Module 1

-Gain a full understanding of the LGBTQ+ definitions

-Identify some of the detrimental effects of homophobia and heterosexism

Module 2

-Explore key terms and use of language regarding trans identities

-Describe ways to increase confidence about saying/doing the right thing

Module 3

-Identify ways of making your services more user friendly for gay, lesbian and transgender (LGBTQ+) service users

-Provide links to a wide range of resources

Zoom log in details will be sent 24 hours before training. Please do not share these details - only individuals booked will be admitted.

Certificate for training will be provided once feedback has been received.
