About this event

In this fun introductory workshop, delivered by ITM teacher Kirsten Miller, you can find out about the Alexander Technique, its key ideas, and how it might help you, wherever you are in your life.

This workshop is for members of the LGBTQ + community. I am also running another free workshop on Wednesday 17th September which is open to everyone.

It will take place in Y Nyth or The Nest, which is a cosy, wooden hut at the back of the Railway Gardens site. Railway Gardens is a green community hub in the heart of Splott, Cardiff.

***

The Alexander Technique is a powerful tool for change and self-development. It can help you to think, move, and approach all your life with more freedom, ease, and flexibility.

After the initial introduction, which will take about 30 minutes, the rest of the session will demonstrate the experiential side of the Alexander Technique work.

You will have the opportunity to have an experiential lesson, which involves the teacher interacting with you through conversation and use of light hands-on techniques.

There will also be opportunities throughout the workshop for questions and group discussion.

***

This workshop is free of charge and aimed at LGBTQ+ adults who are new or fairly new to the Alexander Technique.
