Type: A Focus group.
Anyone could need home-based care at some point in future, which is why we are hosting a special focus group to find out your opinions and what you would personally want from care as an LGBTQ+ person.
So, whether you are currently receiving home-based care or not, we want your voice to be heard, no matter your age or circumstances.
What is home-based care? Home-based care enables people to live safely and comfortably in their home with support from professional, trained carers.
This special group is being conducted by LGBT HERO on behalf of Lambeth Council, as they seek to improve care for LGBTQ+ people. This session will be recorded and transcribed for use as feedback in a report being written by LGBT HERO and Lambeth Council.

About LGBTQ+ HangOuts
LGBTQ+ HangOuts is a twice monthly online social and support group for LGBTQ+ people (18+) to come together and connect with one another in a safe, inclusive, informal, friendly and non-judgmental space.
Our aim is to reduce isolation by creating a safe space to get to know each other through shared lived experiences, through topic discussions and activities.
- We meet online on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month 11am - 1pm
- Please try to arrive 5 minutes early. The Zoom room closes at 11.10am
